A set of 5 sculptural candles, together creating a motif inspired by native plants found in the Japanese countryside where Takazawa is based. Crafted using traditional techniques, natural sumac wax is poured into molds and once set, each candle is hand-finished using a small knife. Wicks are made using dried reed and washi paper, designed specially to produce a bright clean flame. Pairs with the Cast Iron Koma Candlestand.
