Fish Knob in Polished White Bronze by Maha Alavi. Inspired by the small, coastal town of Nanjo, Okinawa, an island in the southern waters of Japan. Designed to function as a knob for drawers and cabinets or as a wall hook for smaller items. May be mounted vertically or horizontally. Cast from solid white bronze and finished by hand in a small, family-run foundry.

Measures 4"H x 7/8"W x 1-1/8"D. Includes mounting screws. Natural variations in shape, size, and color are meant to be embraced. Please note that bronze is a living finish that will evolve over time. If desired, please treat with appropriate metal polish.

Maha Alavi is a Canadian industrial designer currently based in Tokyo, Japan. Her collection of sculptural hardware are cast from recycled metals by a family-run foundry in South Asia.
