Sharlen Nozawa is a Hawaiian-born Japanese artist, currently residing in Paris. With an intrinsic appreciation for making the utilitarian beautiful, she creates her own ‘utsuwa’, the Japanese translation for 'vessel' or 'container'. Sharlen’s vessels change depending on the desired purpose, but always draw inspiration from folk craft and the ever-changing elements of nature.
