Founded by designer Perla Valtierra in 2010, Valtierra Cerámica produces high-end, handcrafted ceramic pieces in partnership with a team of artisans in the Bajío region of Mexico. Informed by her background in product design as well as formal training in traditional pottery techniques across Mexico, Japan, Belgium, and France, Perla is an alchemist and aesthete who experiments with clay and glaze techniques to develop distinguished ceramic objects that will be treasured for generations to come.
