The Donut Bowl by woodworker Elise McLauchlan is a hand-turned wood vessel crafted from locally sourced maple wood. Formed with a smooth, curved shape, this shallow bowl functions well as a catchall or small serving dish. Food and water resistant.
Measures approximately 5.5"Ø x 1.75"H. Poplar wood finished with food-safe oil sealer. Made by hand. Natural variations in shape, size, and color are meant to be embraced. To avoid the possibility of stains, avoid soaking in water. Hand wash, rinse, and dry after use.
Born in the UK, Elise McLauchlan is a designer and woodworker based in Montreal, Canada. After studying furniture design at London School of Art and Architecture, Elise relocated to Canada where she established her woodworking practice. Her designs explore a minimalistic yet sculptural take on practical wooden vessels for everyday use. Each piece is made with sustainable, locally sourced wood.
