SHIPPING & RETURNS

We are a small operation but do our best to ship orders by the next business day. Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please note that during busier periods our dispatch times may increase — if it comes to this, we appreciate your patience! If an expedited or alternative shipping method is desired, please contact hello@shopsommer.com.

 

We currently offer complimentary shipping on orders over $150 within the domestic contiguous US. For all other orders, the shipping cost is calculated at checkout.

For international orders shipping to destinations outside of the United States we ship via UPS. Please take into consideration that our pricing does not include any additional duties, taxes, or fees that may be imposed upon arrival in the destination country. If incurred, these will be the customer's responsibility and Sommer cannot be held liable for any additional duties or costs. Any international deliveries that are refused or returned will incur a 10% restocking fee that will be deducted from the refund in addition to original shipping costs.

Kindly be advised that carriers are sometimes unable to ship to PO Boxes. A physical street address is recommended.

Please be sure to choose a secure location for the delivery of your shipments. Sommer is not responsible for delayed, stolen, or lost packages. If an issue does arise, we encourage you to contact the shipping carrier directly as soon as possible. Deliveries that are refused or returned (i.e. due to an insufficient shipping address), may be eligible for a partial refund or can be re-sent to a corrected address for the additional cost of shipping.

In the off chance your order arrives damaged or defective, please send us a note with photos within 48 hours of the delivery and we’ll get you sorted. 

To request a return for a refund or exchange, please reply to your order confirmation email at hello@shopsommer.com. All returns must be requested, approved, and mailed back to us within 14 days of delivery of your original purchase. After 14 days, all sales are final.

 

Eligible items must be returned in their original packaging and in unused and undamaged condition. It is the customer's responsibility to arrange for return shipping. Please ensure your items are safely repackaged with the original shipping materials. Should the return arrive damaged or in unsaleable condition, we will unfortunately not be able to issue the refund or exchange. 

 

In the case that an exchange is for an item of lesser value, the customer may choose to have the difference returned either in the form of a refund or store credit. The cost of shipping and a 3% transaction fee are non-refundable and will be deducted from the final amount. Please allow up to 10 days for your refund process.

If your order has not yet been processed, you may request to cancel your purchase. Simply reply to your order confirmation email at hello@shopsommer.com with your request. Please note that a nonrefundable 3% transaction fee will be deducted from the refund.

Accepted payment types include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Shop Pay and PayPal. 

Please note that apothecary items and items purchased using store credit, as well as sale/promotional selections, are considered final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchange.
